This appeal is the result of a business venture gone sour, resulting in the institution of two lawsuits, one in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the instant matter, commenced in the Wayne County Circuit Court. Ultimately, the parties through their counsel, and Ivan Scholnick both through counsel and in his proper person, placed on the record in open court the terms of a settlement agreement.
