The sole issue in this certified appeal is whether the Appellate Court properly determined that in an action for the partition of real property the trial court could order, as relief, the payment of money to the *49named defendant, Eyvind Rodriguez,1 by the plaintiff, Maria Fernandes, and order the defendant to execute and deliver to the plaintiff a quitclaim deed to the subject property.
