CATHELL, Judge.

Appellant, Anthony R., was charged as a juvenile under petition number 399021021 and petition number 399085025. Prior to trial, appellant filed a motion for the juvenile court to dismiss petition 399021021 because the petition was not filed in accordance with Maryland Code (1973, 1998 Repl-Vol., 2000 Supp.), section 3-812(b) of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article. 1 After a hearing, the motion was denied.
