About the year 1880 W. R. Hughes, the appellant, and Mary Hughes, the appellee, were married in Pulaski (county, Virginia. They were each residents of that county and State at the time of the marriage, and the appellee continued to reside in Virginia until the month of December, 1908, when she removed to the Staté of Oklahoma, where she has resided since that time.
