Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him of two sales of heroin which occurred on April 18, 1974 and May 20, 1974.

Following his receipt of a notice that the People intended to offer "testimony identifying * * * defendant as [the] person who committed the offense charged, to be given by a witness who has previously identified him as such” (CPL 710.30, subd 1, par [b]), defendant made a pretrial motion to suppress the specified evidence.
