On September 2, 1941, C. F. Pope filed a petition in the superior court of Laurens County, Georgia, alleging that on May 25, 1934, the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company became transferee of a judgment rendered in that court on that date against the plaintiff for $2625 principal and $26.45 costs, with interest at 7 per cent, per annum, and that on May 21, 1941, it had the sheriff of the court to levy on the life estate of the plain tiff in certain described lands, and that the sheriff was then advertising the property for sale for the first Tuesday in September, 1941, before the county…
