—Stephen D. Carey appeals his convictions for two counts of aggravated murder, one count of attempted first degree murder, and one count of first degree arson. We affirm.

Due to the complex factual circumstances in this case, our recitation of the facts 1 is divided into three sections: (1) background facts; (2) facts relating to the events of February 25, 1982; and (3) post-fire facts and expert testimony.
