The sole question before this Court is whether the natural parents of the child sought to be adopted have “willfully failed to properly support and maintain the child for a period of more than two years immediately preceding the filing of the petition,” so as to come within the provisions of sub-paragraph (R) (4) of §8004-6 GC, which avoids the necessity of actual consent to adoption on the part of parents under such circumstances.
