OPINION

{¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant, Farah Basha ("appellant"), appeals from the judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas denying his motions for summary judgment and granting summary judgment in favor of appellee Canal Insurance Company ("Canal").

{¶ 2} This matter arises out of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on June 15, 2005. On October 18, 2005, appellant filed a complaint against Abdi Jama Ghalib ("Ghalib") and Daryel Express Trucking, LLC ("Daryel Express"), alleging he was injured as a result of Ghalib's negligence.
