MONTEMURO, J.:

¶ 1 This is an appeal from judgment of sentence of life imprisonment entered following Appellant’s conviction of first degree murder after retrial.

¶2 In January of 1981, Appellant was convicted by a jury of third degree murder in connection with the shotgun slaying of his wife, Gail Larkins, and of first degree murder for shooting Alfred Huweart, whom Appellant believed to be his wife’s paramour.
