COLEMAN, Judge.

James Anthony Hazel was convicted in a jury trial of first degree murder, in violation of Code § 18.2-32, and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, in violation of Code § 18.2-53.1. On appeal, Hazel contends the trial court erred by denying his motion for a mistrial based upon improper and prejudicial questions asked by the Commonwealth’s Attorney during voir dire examination of the venirepersons. He argues that the Commonwealth’s questions improperly commented on his constitutional right to remain silent and not to testify, thereby depriving him of a fair trial.…
