James and Joyce Driskill’s 1993 Lincoln Town Car caught fire in 2003, while turned off and parked in the garage at their house. The fire spread to the Driskills’ house, destroying most of their personal belongings. A subsequent investigation determined that the fire originated in the left rear area of the ear’s engine compartment.
