Plaintiff challenges the Seattle City Council's denial of her appeal of the Pioneer Square Historic Preservation Board's ruling she remove and replace a parapet/pediment (parapet) on her building located in a historic preservation district. Plaintiff claims Seattle's action was an unconstitutional "taking" of the use of her property without compensation. The trial court upheld the Council's action, denying plaintiff's appeal. We affirm the trial court.
