This is a workmen’s compensation case involving injuries sustained by a volunteer fireman. The claimant has appealed from an order of the court below dismissing *233his appeal.from a disallowance of compensation by the referee and the board.

On August 20, 1946, the claimant, a member of the Millersville Fire Company, was in the employ of the Borough of Millersville as a volunteer fireman.
