On August 12, 1902, by an instrument reciting “ This indenture made this 12th day of August, in the year one thousand nine hundred and two between Edward Albert Ridley of Farnwood, N. J., party of the first part, hereinafter designated as the landlord, and Harris Goldman and Pincus Malzman of the City, County and State of New York, parties of the second part, hereinafter designated as the tenants,” the landlord rented to the tenants premises at the corner of Allen and Grand streets for the term of twenty-one years from December 1, 1902, at a yearly rent payable…
