In response to the clear prima facie case, made by the plaintiff’s evidence in chief, the defendants offered to prove, what *235had already been shown by plaintiff, that, in July, 1873, Mrs. Menold, under whom both parties claimed, and her husband, had in due form conveyed the property in fee to Mrs. Fricke, wife of defendant J. R. Fricke. This was of course admitted without objection.
