NATURE OF CASE
Robert M. Petty was charged in Douglas County Court with driving under the influence (third offense), driving under suspension, and driving without lights. The county court denied Petty’s motion to discharge on speedy trial grounds. The district court for Douglas County affirmed the denial, and Petty appealed to the Nebraska Court of Appeals.
