The issue presented in this case is whether Otis C. Johnson, III, defendant and appellant herein, was brought to trial within 6 months of the commencement of this criminal action against him as required by section 29-1207, R. R. S. 1943. In a complaint filed in the county court of Red Willow County on August 18, 1976, the defendant was charged with operating a motor vehicle while his operator’s license was revoked.
