This is a suit brought by two labor unions, United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America (for brevity called UE) and UE Local 412, to prevent the defendants from conducting a hearing in a representation proceeding. Following certification by the National Labor Relations Board, on July 23, 1943, of UE as the collective bargaining representative of employees in an appropriate unit at the Bloomfield, N.
