The defendant appeals from an adverse judgment of the Justice Court of the town of Huntington in the sum of nineteen dollars and twenty-eight cents. The amount involved is small but the matter at issue is important since it affects many other persons situated in the same position as the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is a laborer and a member of the Bricklayers Helpers Union. He was employed by the defendant on a construction job at Kings Park.
