Reversing.

Tliis action was brought in the Whitley Circuit Court by the appellee, J. H. Buckner, against the appellant, Gainesboro Telephone Company, and the Cumberland *605Telephone & Telegraph Company, seeking to recover of them damages alleged to have been caused appellee by their negligence in so delaying the transmission and delivery to him of a message informing him of the death of his mother that he was unable to be present at her funeral or burial.
