The plaintiff filed his motion for judgment against Louis N. Joynes, II (“Joynes”) on May 26, 1994. Service was not requested until April 7, 1995, and Joynes was served on April 13, 1995. Joynes filed his answer on May 1, 1995. On March 11, 1996, the plaintiff lodged an amended motion for judgment that also names Joynes & Beiber, P.C. (the “firm”) as a co-defendant.
