On May 7, 1953, plaintiff commenced this action in Dolores County by filing with the clerk of the court at Dove Creek his complaint seeking “ * * * adjudication that the plaintiff and defendant * * * were and are general partners from and after December 1, 1951 * * for partnership accounting, the appointment of a receiver, and for $20,000 damages for conversion by the defendant of partnership assets.
