Petitioner, who is in the custody of the Department of Mental Health after having pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease to the murder of his wife, filed applications for conditional and unconditional release. The trial court entered a judgment that denied petitioner’s application for unconditional release but granted petitioner’s application for conditional release. Both parties appeal.
