Appellants, Victor and William Sprinkle, were jointly charged, tried, and found guilty of robbery in the first degree. The verdicts were rendered on June 16, 1960. On June 17, 1960, a motion for a new trial was made on behalf of each and denied, and a motion for probation made on behalf of each and then continued. Thereafter, on July 8, 1960, Victor, in propria persona, filed a premature notice of appeal. On July 15, the court denied Victor’s motion for probation and entered judgment against him.
