{¶ 1} This is an appeal from a judgment dismissing a habeas corpus petition. Because the petition failed to state a viable habeas corpus claim, we affirm.

Conviction and Appeal

{¶ 2} Following a jury trial, appellant, Danny J. Webber, was convicted of felonious assault, assault, and failure to comply with an order of a police officer and was sentenced to an aggregate term of 13 years in prison.
