This case is before the Court on the defendant’s Motion for Summary Judgment, filed herein on June 25, 1986. Plaintiff’s response in opposition was filed July 9,1986. The Court heard oral argument on the motion on September 18, 1986.
Plaintiff has brought this action to enforce a promise by the defendant to pay plaintiff monthly retirement benefits in the amount of $502.11 and for damages incurred in reliance on defendant’s promise, including plaintiff's mental anguish and loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life. 1 The basis of jurisdiction in…
