Enrique Abarca Sanfeliz, in his capacity as attorney in fact of Celestina Abarca Sanfeliz, brought an action of debt against the Bank of Nova Scotia. It was alleged in the complaint that Celestina Abarca Sanfeliz, widow of Gumersindo Suárez, is the owner of a house which she and her husband leased to the Bank of Nova Scotia on October 22, 1918, for a term of six years with an option to extend the same for five years more and at a monthly rent of $275 payable semiannually in advance; that at the expiration of the original term of six…
