This appeal presents legal problems in the field of chattel mortgages.

For some years, the defendants, Johnson and wife, have been engaged in raising and fattening chickens and turkeys for the fresh meat market. In so doing, they purchased a great deal of feed from the plaintiff, Wolfkill.
