The plaintiff, Stephen Koestner, filed this action against the defendant, Derby Cellular Products (“Derby Cellular”), in Connecticut Superior Court. Koestner claimed that Derby Cellular had terminated his employment in violation of both the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq., and the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act (CFEPA), Conn.
