OPINION

PARKER, Judge.

This appeal arises from three consolidated actions commenced by Palatine National Bank against Kenneth P. Olson, High Site, Inc., Southwest Properties, and Carrousel Trucking, Inc., for nonpayment of four promissory notes.

A jury found for Palatine by special verdict. Appellants claim the notes are unenforceable, that two notes have been released, and that the trial court erred in its instructions to the jury and in holding appellants jointly and severally liable for all attorney’s fees. We affirm in part, vacate in part, and remand.
