Plaintiff Graybar Electric Co., Inc. (“Graybar”), an electrical equipment and parts supplier, filed suit in Superior Court (Cumberland County) on August 26, 1981, seeking to recover the purchase price of equipment it had delivered to a third party on credit, allegedly with the oral guarantee of defendant Hollis R. Sawyer. Following a jury trial and the entry of judgment for plaintiff in the amount of $30,203.25, defendant Sawyer brings this appeal.
