MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
BUCKLO, District Judge.
Lead plaintiff, the Department of the Treasury of the State of New Jersey and its Division of Investment, brings this action under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 on behalf of itself and all other persons who purchased securities of defendant Sears, Roebuck & Co. (“Sears”) between October 24, 2001 and October 17, 2002 (“class period”). Defendants include Sears, a New York corporation, and several individual former and current officers of Sears.
