OPINION ON APPELLANT’S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

A jury convicted appellant of aggravated robbery and assessed punishment at forty-eight years’ confinement. The Dallas Court of Appeals affirmed the conviction in an unpublished opinion. Garrison v. State, No. 05-83-01350-CR (delivered December 18, 1984). We granted appellant’s petition for discretionary review in which he challenges the Court of Appeals’ holding that probable cause existed for his war-rantless arrest and that, therefore, his confession was properly admitted as the fruit of a lawful arrest.
