MEMORANDUM

JOAN N. FEENEY, Bankruptcy Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

The plaintiff, through her Complaint, seeks a determination that a debt owed to her by John H. MeCartin (the “Debtor”) is excepted from discharge pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(5) or (a)(15). 1 On April 9, 1996, the parties filed a Joint Pre-Trial Memorandum. On September 10,1996, the Court held a trial at which two witnesses testified and thirteen exhibits were introduced into evidence.
