MEMORANDUM OPINION

I. BACKGROUND

Before the Court is a complaint filed by Shelley Garrity (“Plaintiff’) against Chuck L. Hadley (“Debtor”) objecting to the dischargeability of a debt, pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(15). 1 A trial was held concerning this matter on August 27, 1999, at which time both parties testified and presented documentary evidence regarding their financial status.
