“This case was duly commenced on December 14, 1923, and came on for trial on April 21, 1924, in the County Court for Richland County before his Honor, Judge Marcellus S. Whaley, and a jury, and resulted in a verdict for the plaintiffs for $1,800 actual damages. Motions for nonsuit and for direction of verdict and for new trial, as hereinafter noted, were duly made by attorneys for appellant and overruled by the trial Court.
