In this diversity action, the appellant Crenshaw challenges the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of General Dynamics, and its decision to award attorney fees sua sponte against him. Finding no error in the grant of summary judgment, we affirm. However, because the district court failed to enunciate its reasons for imposing attorney’s fees against Crenshaw, we vacate that portion of the court’s judgment and remand for further proceedings.
