TARIFF, J.,

Presently before the court is plaintiff Helen Bowles’ petition to open judgment of non pros.

This lawsuit, stemming from injuries plaintiff allegedly sustained in an accident on August 29, 1974, was commenced by the filing of a complaint on February 6, 1976. Pretrial discovery commenced with interrogatories propounded to plaintiff by defendant Cohen on February 24, 1976. Defendant Ferguson served interrogatories upon plaintiff on May 17,1976, one day prior to plaintiffs filing of answers to Cohen’s interrogatories.
