This is an action in tort to recover damages for personal injury and property damage resulting from a motor vehicle accident. The defendant pleaded a general denial and other defenses not material to the issue before us.

The trial court found for the defendant.

At the close of the evidence, the plaintiff seasonably filed seven requests for rulings, five of which were denied as requiring findings of fact, one of which was allowed and one of *3which was “allowed insofar as the evidence warrants a finding that the operator of the other vehicle was negligent.”
