SCOTT, Justice.
This matter consists of appeals by Dr. James and Mrs. Julia Salmen, husband and wife, and Dr. James Salmen as parent and natural guardian of Charles Salmen, from the judgment of the Ramsey County District Court in actions brought as a result of a motor vehicle accident involving an automobile owned and operated by Mrs. Salmen and a truck owned by the City of St. Paul and operated by Andrew Shantos. Separate actions were commenced below 1 which were then consolidated and tried to a jury. The jury found that Julia Salmen was 100 percent negligent, and awarded damages of $6,800 to…
