The voters of Ogden township, Riley county, as appears by the petition, had regularly voted to make a subscription to the capital stock of The Manhattan City and Interurban Railway Company to the amount of $10,000. The appellants, conceded to be voters and taxpayers of Ogden township, filed their petition in the district court of Riley county for a tern-*753porary injunction to restrain the appellees, the county and township officers named, from making such subscription.
