Plaintiff appeals as of right from an order denying his motion for new trial. We affirm.

*124Plaintiff, an employee of third-party defendant Valley Consolidated Industries (Valley), was injured while working inside a blast furnace at the premises of defendant Great Lakes Steel Corporation (Great Lakes). Great Lakes had engaged Valley by contractual agreement to reline certain blast furnaces at the Great Lakes plant on Zug Island.
