DECISION ON MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

On November 15, 2001, the complaint of R. Michele Russell, the trustee of the estate of the debtors Charles Arlen Her-mann and Peggy Lee Hermann, came before the court on the parties’ cross motions for summary judgment. Ms. Russell appeared pro se and the defendant through counsel, Janet Tyler. Ms. Russell seeks to avoid a transfer of a security interest to the defendant, Quality Auto City, Inc. (Quality Auto), through the avoidance powers found in 11 U.S.C. § 547(b).
