DICE, Judge.

The conviction is for murder; the punishment, life imprisonment.

The state’s testimony shows that on the night of the homicide the deceased, Villard Marvin Harper, and his wife went to the Uptown Lounge in the city of Houston where they seated themselves at a booth and began drinking beer. Deceased’s wife was dressed in a thin white nylon uniform which attracted the attention of others in the place including the appellant and his companion, James Ray Spivey, who were seated at a table.
