The above-captioned case began as an action in interpleader initiated by plaintiff Graniteville Company (“Graniteville”), a manufacturing concern organized pursuant to the laws of South Carolina. Graniteville deposited $30,160.11 into the registry of the court and named as defendants and as potential claimants to the fund the following entities: (1) Bleckley Lumber Company d/b/a Bleckley Cotton Company (“Bleckley”), a Georgia corporation; (2) Dixie Bonded Warehouse & Grain, Inc.
