On September 5, 1984, plaintiff Granite-ville Company (“Graniteville”) filed its complaint for interpleader against Bleckley Lumber Company, Inc., doing business as Bleckley Cotton Company (“Bleckley”), Dixie Bonded Warehouse & Grain Company, Inc. (“Dixie”), and Allstate Financial Corporation (“Allstate”) stating that: (1) pursuant to Graniteville’s purchase order, Bleckley, on April 13, 1984', shipped 77 bales of raw cotton to Graniteville’s Augusta, Georgia fibers division for which Granite-ville owes $30,160.11; (2) Bleckley originally purchased the cotton from, but…
