Suit for the foreclosure of a judgment lien upon real estate of the A. & W. Sprague Manufacturing Company; brought to the Superior Court in New London County. The company was a Rhode Island corporation and in 18TB owned the real estate in question which was situated in this state, and in that year made a trust deed of this with its other property to the defendant Chafee, as trustee, for the benefit of assenting creditors, and afterwards a general assignment in insolvency to the same trustee. The plaintiff is a resident of the state of Rhode Island; he has never been a resident of this state. The A. & W. Sprague Manufacturing Company, the principal defendant, is a corporation chartered prior to 1873 by *567the legislature of the state of Rhode Island, having its legal location in that state. It has never been a corporation resident in this state. Chafee, trustee, the other defendant, is a resident of the state of Rhode Island.
The A. & W. Sprague Manufacturing Company made default of appearance ; Chaffee, trustee, appeared.
