WALKER, Justice.
The plaintiff, who is the appellee, recovered a judgment'against the defendants, namely, Elbert Farmer and Lester Farmer, who are the'appellants, for the sum due on a promissory note given him by said defendants in part payment for some timber, and this judgment also decreed a foreclosure of the vendor’s lien on this timber. From this judgment the defendants have appealed. Defendants were not present at the trial, and the cause was tried to the court without a jury.
