GRAVES, Justice.

This appeal by Elton E. Jeter, as appellant, against L. M. Clements, an individual person, and Radeliff Finance Corporation, a private corporation, as appellees, is from a judgment of the 55th District Court of Harris County sitting without a jury, fo-re-closing an alleged lien in favor of the finance corporation against appellant, who claimed to be the owner of a 1949 Chevrolet automobile he had bought on October 9 of that year from one Jack DeWitt, to whom he had exchanged in part payment therefor a 1946 Chevrolet automobile, and in favor of appellee, L.
